WATERVILLE, N.H. – New Hampshire’s Waterville Valley Resort has acquired ownership of a hotel that was formerly part of the Best Western chain and made news for a cat that was a big hit with visitors.
The resort is now operating the 32-room Silver Fox Inn in Waterville Valley, as well as its Town Square Condominiums and the budget-conscious Snow Star Inn. The addition is next to the resort’s conference and event centre.
The hotel got publicity in 2016 for the popularity of its resident 31-pound cat, Logan, owned by the previous owners, Tor and Susan Burnvand, who retired. Logan was often found wandering through the hotel or stretched out on the sidewalk. He became a star on social media.
