Village Farms: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

DELTA, British Columbia (AP) _ Village Farms International Inc. (VFF) on Friday reported third-quarter net income of $520,000, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Delta, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 1 cent.

The greenhouse operator posted revenue of $43 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $39.9 million.

Village Farms shares have decreased almost 3% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 21% in the last 12 months.
