
Brent Butt heading to Vernon for stand-up performance
VERNON – Saskatchewan born funny man Brent Butt will be taking to the stage at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre for a night of his award-winning stand-up comedy.
The Vancouver based comedian, well known for his small town comedy TV show Corner Gas, will be performing stand up Mar. 20.
Butt has an impressive resume when it comes to comedy, becoming a regular at Montreal's Just for Laughs comedy festival, winning the Best Male Stand-Up in Canada award at the 2001 Canadian Comedy Awards and hosting the JUNO Awards in 2005. The creator and star of Corner Gas also received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013.
For a limited time, early ticket buyers will also receive a Brent Butt T-shirt and a chance to meet the star after the show.
