Man enters bank and pulls out a gun in Princeton

PRINCETON – Police are looking for suspects following an armed bank robbery in Princeton Monday afternoon.

The robbery happened at the CIBC located at 226 Bridge Street at roughly 2:50 p.m. Dec. 1. Mounties were called and witnesses say the lone male suspect entered the bank, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to an RCMP media release. 

A police service dog team assisted in the search but failed to find the man.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his late 20's to early 30's with sandy hair and a medium, athletic build. He was wearing a black Canucks toque, black sunglasses, a dark jacket, dark cargo pants, brown loafer shoes and gloves.
