Police seeking wanted man with possible connections in Vernon

PRINCE GEORGE – A man is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after missing his court-ordered curfew at a designated Prince George residence.

Prince George RCMP are searching for 31-year-old Tal Kalum LaRiviere, who they say is considered violent. LaRiviere was issued a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large on Saturday, Feb. 2, according to a media release.

Police say the arrest warrant was issued after LaRiviere failed to meet the conditions of his release by missing curfew.

LaRiviere is described as a Metis male, standing 188 cm (6'2") and weighs about 88 kg (194 pounds). He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He may be driving a blue 1994 GMC 1500 pickup with B.C. licence plate MY9880. Police say LaRiviere has connections in Vernon, and Grimshaw, Alberta, and may be driving in Northern Alberta or Northern B.C.

Police have included a photo that is not the actual pickup, but looks similar to the one pictured below.

If you see LaRiviere or his pickup do not confront him and call your local RCMP or 9-11.
