WILD WEDNESDAY: Up-close look at moose during B.C. Interior winter

In this week's episode of Wild Wednesday, you get an up-close view of moose in the winter.

Moose are the largest member of the deer family and a male moose, also known as a bull, can weigh over 500 kilograms, according to WildSafeBC. They feed on a variety of things including willow and other shrubs during this time of the year.

Moose are not normally aggressive towards humans but are known to attack or get defensive to protect their young, WildSafeBC says. It's best to give a moose lots of space when encountering them in the wild.
