KAMLOOPS – A man who is known to police was taken into custody because they believed he was holding someone against their will because of drug debts.
An investigation into the initial complaint led Mounties to a residence at 300 Campbell Avenue in Kamloops. When they arrived, the man associated with the complaint was arrested as he was leaving the building. Others were called out of the residence while police searched for the male victim.
The victim was not found, but RCMP believe the man is safe in the Kamloops area.
