BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Down 45 cents, or 3.26 per cent, to $13.35 on 4.6 million shares. The Waterloo-based company is filing a patent infringement lawsuit against Snap, the parent company of Snapchat.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up two cents, or 0.55 per cent, to $3.68 on 3.5 million shares. The company’s plant in La Pocatiere, Que., received another reprieve. Via Rail awarded Bombardier a $54-million contract to modernize part of its fleet of train cars dating back to the 1950s.
