SUV fire could be arson

VERNON – Vernon fire fighters have asked the RCMP to help with the investigation into a fire that destroyed a SUV in the city Friday night.

Fire crews responded to the call at about 10:22 p.m.

The unoccupied vehicle was burning in on the road at 43rd Street and 25-A Avenue. No one was hurt in the blaze. A nearby fence suffered some damage.
