Volunteer Community Clean-Up Saturday

WEST KELOWNA – The District of West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation are hosting the fifth annual Volunteer Community Clean-Up this Saturday.

Volunteers will be roaming the streets in West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation clearing litter and debris from roadsides in an effort to make our communities even more beautiful.

Last year, 70 volunteers participated and more are expected this year.

Volunteers are treated to a BBQ lunch after the clean-up.

Motorists and cyclists are asked to please use extra caution on the roads between 9 and 11:30 am on Saturday, June 7.
