Osoyoos man charged with child luring

OSOYOOS – An Osoyoos man facing charges for communicating on the Internet with a child for sex, is out on bail.

RCMP say Shaun David Randall, 29, was arrested on Nov. 27, 2014; three days after the police received a tip about the alleged crimes.

Randall appeared in court on Monday charged with communication via a computer to lure a child, possessing child pornography and making explicit material.

He made bail and was released on numerous conditions including:
– No contact with anyone under the age of 16 years
– No access to the Internet
– No possession of any electronic device, which can access the Internet
– No being in public places like schools, swimming areas, etc. a person under the age of 16 years may be present

Randall will be back in court on Dec. 17, 2014.

While they're not saying they suspect there may be more victims, RCMP are asking for the public’s help to further the investigation.
