National Ballet of Canada principals Heather Ogden, Guillaume Cote expecting baby

TORONTO – For two married principal dancers with the National Ballet of Canada, a pas de deux is about to become a pas de trois.
The dance company says Heather Ogden and Guillaume Cote are expecting their first child in December.
Ogden is currently on maternity leave and is slated to return to the stage next June.
The couple met at the National Ballet, with both joining the company in 1998.
Cote, who hails from Lac-Saint-Jean, Que., has been a principal dancer since 2004.
The Toronto-born Ogden has been a principal dancer since 2005.
The couple married in 2010 and have partnered together in a number of ballets, including “Romeo and Juliet,” “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker.”
They recently collaborated in a film “Lost in Motion II,” which Ogden dancing Cote’s choreography.
Cote will reprise his role of Nijinsky during the National Ballet’s fall season in Toronto from Nov. 22-30.
