KUWAIT CITY – Kuwait is reporting a second offshore oil spill in less than a week.
The Environmental Public Authority says the latest spill, discovered Tuesday, is one nautical mile long. Earlier this week, authorities were working to contain an oil spill to the south.
The tiny Gulf country bordering Iraq and Saudi Arabia has proven oil reserves of more than 100 billion barrels and produces 2.9 million barrels a day.
