Bobblehead bobble in Detroit: Cabrera’s MVPs put him in the National League

DETROIT – There was a bobblehead bobble at Comerica Park when it came to Miguel Cabrera.

Fans at Friday night’s game between the Seattle Mariners and Detroit got bobblehead dolls depicting Cabrera. They showed the Tigers star holding his two MVP awards.

The only problem?

The trophies said “Most Valuable Player, National League” — that would be news to Buster Posey and Andrew McCutchen, who won the last two NL MVP awards while Cabrera was winning them in the American League.
