Neymar nominates player who fractured his back at World Cup in ice bucket challenge

SAO PAULO – Neymar took part in the ice bucket challenge and called on the player who fractured his back at the World Cup to keep the campaign going.

Neymar posted a video where he douses himself with ice water, then named Colombia player Juan Camillo Zuniga, former teammate Robinho and One Direction band member Niall Horan as those he wanted to participate in the campaign to fight ALS.

Zuniga ended Neymar’s World Cup when he kneed the Brazil star in the back in the quarterfinals, fracturing his back.

Zuniga didn’t take long to accept Neymar’s challenge. He posted a video of Napoli teammates pouring ice water on top of him on Monday, then challenged Colombia teammates James Rodriguez, Pablo Armero and Juan Cuadrado.

The campaign was launched by the ALS Foundation to raise money and awareness for fighting ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease.
