LONDON – The Davis Cup playoff between Ukraine and Belgium will be held at a neutral venue in Estonia because of security issues in Kyiv.
The International Tennis Federation says the best-of-five World Group playoff series on Sept. 12-14 will be played on indoor hard courts at the Tere Tennis Centre in Tallinn.
The series had been originally scheduled for Kyiv, but Belgium appealed for the venue to be moved.
The ITF previously moved the playoff between Israel and Argentina to a neutral venue in Sunrise, Florida, also because of security concerns.
