Officials: Fire on 88th floor of 1 World Trade Center in New York

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Officials are reporting a fire on the 88th floor of 1 World Trade Center in New York.

The fire department says the fire was reported shortly before 8 a.m. They say emergency personnel are on the scene.

The tower is the centerpiece of the construction at the site of the 9-11 attacks. The building is still under construction and is now the tallest in New York City.
