5 injured after gunmen storm into Guyana hotel casino

GEORGETOWN, Guyana – Authorities in Guyana say a gang of gunmen raided a hotel casino in the South American country’s capital, leading to a shootout in which five people were wounded.

Police say they arrested one of the four attackers in Friday’s raid on the casino of the Ramada Georgetown Princess Hotel. Three others fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police says the wounded include a policeman, casino workers and customers.
