LL Cool J lends a hand for New York City kids who need school supplies

NEW YORK, N.Y. – LL Cool J says it is important to help out kids in need.

The “NCIS” actor and hip-hop star handed out backpacks with school supplies to children in Jamaica, Queens, on Sunday.

He notes that a relatively small contribution can have a big effect on the families.

About 2,000 children attended the Worldstar Foundation event.
