UPDATE: Peachland fire crews fighting house fire

PEACHLAND— A house is still ablaze in Peachland after fire crews rushed to the scene this afternoon.

Fire dispatch says they received the call at about 1:11 p.m. Peachland Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 5800 block of Somerset Ave.

An ambulance, five fire apparatuses, and about 14 firefighters are on scene.

Jose Vargas with B.C. Emergency Health Services says no injuries have been reported.

Somerset Avenue is closed for the time being.

No cause has been determined.
