Shhhh… Downtown Vernon may appear on some Netflix show

VERNON – Downtown Vernon could soon be hitting the small screen and appearing on a Netflix TV show.

According to the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce, a TV production crew will "tentatively" be filming background footage at multiple downtown locations April 26 and 30. The film crew may also be filming at some scenic areas around the city.

But the missing details will apparently remain missing. The chamber of commerce says that no other details about the production are being made available.

Ben Bulmer

After a decade of globetrotting, U.K. native Ben Bulmer ended up settling in Canada in 2009. Calling Vancouver home he headed back to school and studied journalism at Langara College. From there he headed to Ottawa before winding up in a small anglophone village in Quebec, where he worked for three years at a feisty English language newspaper. Ben is always on the hunt for a good story, an interesting tale and to dig up what really matters to the community.
