Tournament Capital gets a ‘mention’ in popular YouTube series

KAMLOOPS — The Tournament Capital has a bizarre ability to get a name-drop, but this one might not be so memorable.

Kamloops is the name of a species of trout, a crater on the moon and a few ships but this time it got an odd shoutout from a popular YouTube channel.

Today I Found Out is a popular web series with more than a million subscribers and in the video “How does GPS Actually Work and Why Many GPS Devices are About to Stop Working” the Tournament Capital gets a quick mention. We're just not sure about his pronunciation.

The moment begins at the eight-minute mark. Sigh.
