iN VIDEO: Bang your head with Judas Priest before the Kelowna concert
KELOWNA – Judas Priest have been enjoying a late-career renaissance for the last year and the band's momentum will pull them straight into Kelowna this June for what's sure to be a fiery metal show.
Priest, the iconic metal pioneers who have inspired countless bands and artists in their 50-year career, have released several classic records in their time. While most long-running bands are comfortable resting on their laurels, Priest roared back last year with the critically acclaimed Firepower, one of their highest rated albums yet.
They've taken their blistering record on the road as part of the Firepower tour. Their travels will bring them to Kelowna on June 16 at Prospera Place.
Uriah Heep, one of the few remaining bands that have been around as long as Priest, will join the show. They released their 25th album last year.
Judas Priest shows are known for their epic visuals and chest-thumping music, so attendees should prepare for a feast for the ears and eyes.
