Police raid marijuana grow-op just blocks away from Parliament Hill

OTTAWA – Debating whether to legalize marijuana is one thing, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Police in Ottawa say they have busted a pot grow-op flourishing just blocks from Parliament Hill.
An Ottawa police drug unit raid hit the downtown location earlier today.
The police say they scooped up $43,000 worth of marijuana plants and $3,500 in loose leaves.
The grow-up was housed on an unremarkable residential block just off the city core.
A 52-year-old man faces one count of producing the drug and two counts of possession.
