Okanagan Weather: Gorgeous day ahead

KELOWNA – Good morning!

Hope you dusted off your SPF this weekend because the season to slather it on has arrived. Environment Canada is calling for non stop sunshine throughout the Okanagan this week and when all is said and done temperatures will climb toward 30 C.

First, however, there will be a mix of sun and cloud, which will give way to more cloud this afternoon. Throughout the Okanagan the high temperature will range between 22 C and 23 C, except for Osoyoos which is expected to be the hot spot of the day with a high forecast temperature of 26 C.

When night falls, conditions could cool a bit more and there's a 40 per cent chance of showers this evening and after midnight.

In short, it's going to be a great spring day.
