‘Amazing Race Canada’ to wrap with two-hour finale, after-show special Sept. 21

TORONTO – The second season of “The Amazing Race Canada” will reach the finish line on Sept. 21.

On that Sunday night the CTV series — which has typically aired on Tuesdays — will conclude with a one-hour finale.

That last instalment will be followed by a one-hour special called “After the Race,” which will reunite all 11 teams to reminisce on the season that was.

TSN personality James Duthie will host.

After Tuesday’s most recent episode, the four teams remaining are Olympic gold medallist hockey stars Meaghan Mikkelson and Natalie Spooner, B.C. siblings Sukhi and Jinder Atwal, Vancouver bartenders Ryan Steele and Rob Goddard and Ontario friends Mickey Henry and Pete Schmalz.

The winning duo will take home a prize package that includes $250,000 plus two Chevrolet pickup trucks.

This Tuesday’s episode will take teams to New Brunswick.
