KELOWNA – The Kore Dance Project has had a strong start to their competition season this year.
They travelled to the lower mainland to participate in both the View Dance Challenge followed by Quantum Acrobatics, which focuses solely on Acro-Dance.
The Kore Dance Force consists of 14 dedicated dancers and acrobats aged 8-17 years. They train between 6 and 20 hours per week in all styles with a strong focus on Acrobatic Arts.
In addition to many top awards at the View Dance Challenge, the team scored overall placements for Top Intermediate Large Group and Top Duet bringing home some trophies and a huge sense of accomplishment.
At Quantum Acrobatics the team left some incredible crowd pleasing Acrobatics on the dance floor. They advanced to finals for three routines and placed for each one of them.

Many of these dancers and acrobats are looking to pursue a professional career in dance, acrobatics, or performance. Come watch them live in action at the Fat Fat Festival on June 8th as well as in the Kid Zone and on the Street Stage on Canada Day. They all plan to Audition for Level Up Entertainment’s show, happening in Kelowna this summer!
