Death in Clinton, B.C., has been ruled a homicide following autopsy

CLINTON, B.C. – A suspicious death in Clinton, B.C., has been ruled a homicide.

RCMP say an autopsy conducted on Friday confirmed a man found dead in his mobile home last Wednesday did not die naturally.

Police say 61-year-old James Painter of Clinton was killed.

Mounties are asking anyone with information about Painter’s whereabouts and actions last Wednesday to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

RCMP do not believe this was a random incident and are not releasing the cause of death. (CFJC)
