Kamloops RCMP looking for intoxicated drivers this May long weekend

KAMLOOPS — The May long weekend is almost here and more drivers are expected to be out on the roads and highways than usual.

Kamloops RCMP are letting the community know they will be making extra patrols over the Victoria Day long weekend to target intoxicated drivers.

Police remind drivers to make plans to avoid impaired driving by calling a taxi or designating a non-drinking driver. Police also are asking people to wear a seatbelt.
