Kelowna Rockets doubled up on Tigers in Medicine Hate

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. – The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2 on Friday night, winning the second straight game of their Alberta road trip.

Newly acquired Gage Quinney had the game winning goal, scoring midway through the third period to help the Rockets earn the win, improving to 26-4-3-0 on the season.

Tyson Baillie had a pair of goals to give him 20 on the season while Justin Kirkland scored his 10th of the season. Jacson Whistle earned the win in net as the Tigers outshot Kelowna 34 to 27.

The win improved the Rockets record to 26-4-3-0 on the season as they continue a week long trip though the WHL Central Division.

Kelowna now moves on to play Calgary on Sunday, Edmonton Tuesday and Red Deer on Wednesday before breaking for Christmas.

The Rockets return to Prospera Place for two home games during the Christmas season, hosting Kamloops on Dec. 27 and Vancouver on Dec. 30.
