
Trudeau back in Kamloops Tuesday
KAMLOOPS – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is coming back to Kamloops next week to celebrate a nominee in the riding.
According to the Liberal Party website, Trudeau will visit the Coast Hotel at 1250 Rogers Way on May 21 for a celebration of Terry Lake, the party's nominee for the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding in the upcoming federal election.
Lake, a former Kamloops mayor, will be vying for MP Cathy McLeod's seat.
Large bags and backpacks are not permitted at the event, which runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can RSVP for it here.
