CHILLIWACK, B.C. – Two separate shootings have occurred within a day in Chilliwack, B.C.
RCMP say a man in his mid 40s was the victim of a targeted attack at the Chilliwack Motor Inn in the early morning hours of Saturday.
Staff Sgt. Warren Tyson says no one is in custody and the man is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tyson says officers later received reports of shots fired at a house in the evening.
He says the home was empty at the time and no arrests have been made in this case.
Police say the suspect left the scene and officers are investigating.
