Longest drive in the Okanagan? You could win a trip anywhere WestJet flies

KELOWNA – Do you carry the big stick in your foursome? Then this is for you.

Golf B.C. is holding an open long drive contest June 12, just after opening ceremonies for the Championship tournament at Gallagher's Canyon in Kelowna.

They call it Longest Drive in the Okanagan but the competition is open to any amateur golfers. You must register first — spots are limited.

The prize is a trip for two anywhere WestJet flies.

For 3 shots, golfers pay $20 with a maximum of 6 shots per person. Proceeds will support the B.C. Cancer Foundation. They'll also have plenty of craft beer on hand if you want to bring your own fans.

Be at the #1 Patio Tee Box at 3:30 p.m.

To register online click here or sign up at the Gallager’s Canyon Pro Shop.

The GolfBC Championship is the only stop in the Okanagan for the Mackenzie Tour- PGA TOUR Canada with two other tournaments in Vancouver and Victoria.
