Couple has superhero-themed wedding at Fan Expo
TORONTO – What better way to get married than in front of close family, friends — and thousands of screaming superheroes and villains in costume?
Rob Bridges and Amy Banman said “I do” Friday in a superhero-themed wedding at the comic convention Fan Expo in Toronto.
The bride walked down the aisle to the Star Wars theme song.
When the officiant asked if there was any reason the bride and groom should not marry, he told them to speak now or forever hold their peace — and their kryptonite.
This is the first wedding Fan Expo has ever seen.
The ceremony took place in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre building where the convention is being held from Aug. 24 to 26.
