Obamas celebrate 22nd anniversary with dinner date out on the town

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama are observing their 22nd wedding anniversary a day late with a celebratory dinner in Washington’s Georgetown neighbourhood.

The president and his wife travelled separately on Friday, prompting a delayed date night.

For their anniversary dinner they picked Bourbon Steak at the Four Seasons Hotel, about a six-minute drive from the White House.

Before their date Saturday night, the president spent four hours playing golf at Andrews Air Force Base.
