MANCHESTER, England – Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says Wayne Rooney could be out injured for a month after sustaining a deep gash to his right leg Saturday in his team’s 3-2 win against Fulham.

Ferguson says “He’s got a bad one … It looks as he’ll be out for maybe four weeks”

The England striker is receiving hospital treatement for the wound after getting caught by Hugo Rodallega and leaving the pitch on a stretcher in injury time.
