TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

RB Energy Inc. (TSX:RBI). Oil and gas. Up 3.5 cents, or 53.85 per cent, to 10 cents on 8 million shares.
B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up five cents, or 2.27 per cent, to $2.25 on 4.5 million shares.
Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:BNK). Oil and gas. Up 25 cents, or 5.10 per cent, to $5.15 on 4.2 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace. Down eight cents, or 2.18 per cent, to $3.59 on 3.7 million shares.
Athabasca Oil Corp. (TSX:ATH). Oil and gas. Up 11 cents, or 2.15 per cent, to $5.23 on 3.5 million shares.
Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN). Miner. Down one cent, or 0.19 per cent, to $5.33 on 3.4 million shares.
Companies reporting major news:
Air Canada (TSX:AC.B). Airline. Up 31 cents, or 3.94 per cent, to $8.18 on 2 million shares. The carrier reported its flights had fewer empty seats last month. The airline reported a load factor of 84.7 per cent for September, up from 83.2 per cent a year ago. Air Canada also said it has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing its pilots for a new 10-year contract.
Quebecor (TSX:QBR.B). Communication services. Down 47 cents, or 1.64 per cent, to $28.17 on 973,783 shares. The company erased early advances to see its shares decline, even as Desjardins Securities upgraded the stock to a “buy” with a price target of $29 following the company’s deal to sell Sun Media Corp.’s English-language operations to Postmedia Network Canada Corp. (TSX:PNC.B)(Publishing. Up 25 cents, or 11.11 per cent, to $2.50 on 760 shares) for $316 million. The agreement includes 175 newspapers and publications, including the Sun chain of daily newspapers.
