Outpouring of support, condolences for deceased Okanagan DJ

KELOWNA – A local DJ who lit up the Okanagan dance scene passed away earlier this week and fans have been showing their support by donating to a GoFundMe page.

Braeden Christopher Souter, better known by his stage name DJ Brae, passed away on June 5, according to his Facebook page. He was well-known in the Okanagan music scene.

Social media accounts have been flooded with people expressing their condolences and grief over Souter's passing.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Souter's family during this difficult time. The page also noted that a Celebration of Life is being planned in honour of Souter.

As of this writing, the GoFundMe page has raised over $2000.
