Kelowna RCMP looking for owners of dazzling wallets lost at Christmas

KELOWNA – It's never too late for a Christmas miracle.

Kelowna RCMP certainly hope so, as they're looking for the owners of two near identical wallets that were found in the Orchard Park Mall last December.

According to a press release, an employee at a business in the mall entered the Kelowna RCMP detachment on June 11 with two glittered-coated wallets, which had apparently been found during the 2018 holiday season.

Police, upon examining the vibrant cash holders, determined they must belong to young women, possibly sisters or friends.

In the release, Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey described the wallets as "very fashion forward."

The proper owners can contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and cite file number 2019-33952. The owners will need to describe the backsides of the wallets and fully explain the contents they carry before they can claim them.
