Pac-12 Networks issues open letter to fans regarding stalemate with DirecTV

SAN FRANCISCO – Unable to reach a deal with DirecTV, Pac-12 Networks has issued an open letter to fans recommending they switch to another television provider.

Pac-12 Networks will televise 15 nonconference games and 20 Pac-12 football games this season.

“If you’re one of the fans who won’t be satisfied without Pac-12 football, or our more than 135 men’s basketball games and hundreds of other live events, we recommend finding Pac-12 Networks with another television provider,” the letter says.

The network opens its coverage Thursday with two games — Northern Colorado at Utah, and Northern Arizona at Arizona State.
