Elaine Stritch’s Broadway memorial next month will feature Bernadette Peters and Patti Lupone

NEW YORK, N.Y. – A one-night-only Broadway tribute to the late theatre icon Elaine Stritch next month will feature Bernadette Peters, Patti Lupone, Hal Prince, Betty Buckley, Christine Ebersole and Michael Feinstein.

The show, “Everybody, Rise! A Celebration of Elaine Stritch,” lead by George C. Wolfe, will be held on Nov. 17 at The Al Hirschfeld Theatre. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the public.

How tickets will be distributed will be announced later.

Tony and Emmy Award-winning Stritch, who died in July at age 89, found new fans as Alec Baldwin’s mother on television’s “30 Rock,” but she was best known for her stage work — especially her candid one-woman show “At Liberty” and in the Stephen Sondheim musical “Company.”
