
Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Vernon and Kelowna
OKANAGAN – The weather could get nasty in Kelowna and Vernon this evening.
Environment Canada has issued a thunderstorm watch for the central and north Okanagan this afternoon, June 27.
Forecasters say conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which could produce heavy rain.
The downpours could drop 15 millimetres of rain per hour.
