
Kelowna Community grants information session
KELOWNA – On behalf of the City of Kelowna, the Central Okanagan Foundation will administer $80,000 in Community Social Development Grants and $22,000 in Grants to Address the Sexual Exploitation of Youth.
The Central Okanagan Foundation encourages registered charities and non-profit organizations interested in applying for either a Community Social Development grant or a Grant to Address the Sexual Exploitation of Youth to attend an information session on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 1:30 p.m. in the Pacific Safety Products Boardroom at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave.
The session will cover eligibility requirements and the application process. Program updates that could impact the application process and evaluation will be reviewed. Community Social Development Grants support innovative, prevention-oriented programs designed to improve the quality of life for residents in Kelowna.
Grants to Address the Sexual Exploitation of Youth support programs that directly address sexual exploitation issues for those under 19 years of age within the City of Kelowna.

Completed applications are due at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 and should be dropped off at the Central Okanagan Foundation office located at 225 – 1889 Springfield Rd.
