Queen musical ‘We Will Rock You’ coming to Okanagan

PENTICTON – Penticton will be rocked early next year by the North American tour of “We Will Rock You,” the Queen inspired rock musical.

“We Will Rock You” begins a North American tour on Sept. 3, making a stop in Penticton on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The musical has been seen by over 16 million theatregoers since 2002, according to a media release. Described as a quirky, eccentric and heartfelt story of outsiders, it’s also a cautionary tale for the cyber-age, reflecting the scale and spectacle that marked Queen’s live performances and earned the band a pinnacle position in rock history.

The musical includes more than 24 of Queen’s biggest hits, including, “We Will Rock You,” We Are the Champions,” “I Want To Break Free,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” and more.
