Christmas party drunk assaults random neighbours

KAMLOOPS – The man facing charges for forcing his way into a random house and assaulting the people inside was too drunk to kept in Kamloops RCMP cells overnight.

The 24-year-old was taken to hospital for some minor injuries he suffered during the attack, but he was too intoxicated to be returned to jail.

He was kept overnight for observation.

RCMP say the very drunk man left a Christmas party Saturday night and forced his way into a nearby home in the 800 block of Lorne Street.

Once inside he started a fight with the residents.

No word from the police on the condition of the people he picked the fight with.
