85-year-old woman hit by car crossing Tranquille

KAMLOOPS – An 85-year-old woman remains at Royal Inland Hospital after she was hit by a car Saturday evening.

Police say she was crossing in the 600 block of Tranquille Road, south of Airport Road, around 6:07 p.m. when she was struck.

The driver of the care stayed at the scene of the crash and is cooperating with the investigation.

The RCMP aren’t saying if they plan to lay any charges.
