Penticton party places for New Years

PENTICTON – If you’re looking for party action in Penticton to celebrate the New Year, there are a number of night spots that are more than willing to help you bring in 2015.

The Penticton Lakeside’s New Years Eve Party begins at 6 p.m. when the doors open to the Grand Ballroom.

At a cost of $55 per person you can enjoy an evening of food, fireworks and party favours. There will be a deluxe dinner buffet, music by DJ Russ, a fireworks display, a Champagne toast and party favours until 1 a.m.

The Barley Mill Brew Pub, located at 2460 Skaha Lake Road is offering a three course, candlelight meal which includes either lobster or filet mignon for $30 on New Years Eve. Entertainment includes Karaoke from 8 until 11 p.m. with DJ Skye. There’s also a Champagne toast at midnight.   A $30 three course meal offering lobster or filet mignon will also be served. Event  starts at 5 p.m., ending at 1 p.m.

Voodoo’s Lounge, located at 67 Nanaimo Street is featuring an old fashioned DJ and door prizes. The party begins at 8 p.m., cost is $25.

The Copper Mug Pub located at 409 – 1301 Main Street in Penticton, is offering dining, entertainment and Champagne this New Years. Diners can select from a choice of roast prime rib, stuffed chicken breast or seafood pasta, and it’s all for $20. Call 250-493-2842 to reserve.

I have been looking for news in the South Okanagan - SImilkameen for 20 years, having turned a part time lifelong interest into a full time profession. After five years publishing a local newsletter, several years working as a correspondent / stringer for several local newspapers and seven years as editor of a Similkameen weekly newspaper, I joined iNFOnews.ca in 2014. As an airborne geophysical surveyor I travelled extensively around the globe, conducting helicopter borne mineral surveys.
I also spent several years at an Okanagan Falls based lumber mill, producing glued-wood laminated products.
As a member of the Kaleden community, I have been involved in the Kaleden Volunteer Fire Department for 22 years, and also serve as a trustee on the Kaleden Irrigation District board.
I am currently married to my wife Judy, of 26 years. We are empty-nesters who enjoy living in Kaleden with our Welsh Terrier, Angus, and cat, Tibbs.
Our two daughters, Meagan and Hayley, reside in Richmond and Victoria, respectively.
