Mom finds daughter standing on toilet, calls for gun control

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – A Michigan woman has called for gun control after finding her 3-year-old daughter standing on a toilet.

MLive.com reports (http://bit.ly/28P4t6A ) that Stacey Wehrman Feeley first thought it was a cute photo. The Traverse City woman said she broke down when her daughter told her she was practicing for a lockdown drill at her preschool.

The photo was posted after a gunman killed 49 people and injured dozens of others at a gay nightclub in Orlando.

Feeley’s Facebook post referenced a registration database for gun owners, a ban on high capacity magazines for civilians and mental health.

The post has been shared nearly 34,000 times and has more than 38,000 likes.
