The Washington State Patrol says a reported a possible abduction at a downtown Olympia park was a hoax.
The Patrol said Thursday that all involved have been confirmed safe and detectives will work with prosecutors on possible charges.
Earlier Thursday authorities asked for information about a possible abduction late Wednesday night at Heritage Park.
The Patrol said troopers were called after people reported seeing five to six males dressed in white, plastic hooded-jumpsuits grab three people and restrain them with zip ties.

The Washington State Patrol now says a possible abduction at a downtown Olympia park could be a hoax.
The Patrol said in a Tweet Thursday that detectives were interviewing those involved to confirm that the incident was fake and would have more information soon.
Earlier Thursday authorities asked for information about a possible abduction late Wednesday night.
Washington State Patrol said troopers were called to Heritage Park in Olympia after people reported seeing five to six males dressed in white, plastic hooded-jumpsuits grab three people and restrain them with zip ties.
The witnesses said the victims, which may have included a girl believed to be about 4 to 6 years old, cried for help.

Authorities are asking for information about a possible abduction late Wednesday night at a downtown park in Washington state’s capital city.
Washington State Patrol said troopers were called to Heritage Park in Olympia after people reported seeing five to six males dressed in white, plastic hooded-jumpsuits grab three people and restrain them with zip ties.
The witnesses said the victims, which may have included a girl believed to be about 4 to 6 years old, cried for help, asking for someone to call 911.
The alleged abductors drove off in a red Ford pickup truck with a matching canopy and a grey or white hood.
The vehicle had either Oregon or Washington state plates but had driven off by the time troopers arrived to the scene about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
