Man dies of shooting injuries as Vancouver police take over investigation

PORT MOODY, B.C. – A 32-year-old man who was shot at his home in Port Moody, B.C., has died in hospital.

Const. Luke Van Winkel could not say whether the shooting at about 10 a.m. Saturday occurred inside or outside the man’s home.

Van Winkel says the victim was known to police.

The Vancouver Police Department has taken over the investigation.

The man’s name has not yet been released.
